Statistics service assesses Russia’s Apr–Jun GDP growth at 2.5%
MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- The Federal State Statistics Service has preliminarily estimated Russia’s gross domestic product growth in April-June at 2.5% in annual terms, worse than the Economic Development Ministry’s assessment of 2.7%, the service said on Friday.
The central bank expected GDP to rise 0.9-1.3% on the year in April-June. Chairwoman Elvira Nabiullina forecasted a 1.3% advance in July-September.
